Madeleine Shaw

Madeleine Shaw (she/her) is a feminist entrepreneur and writer. She is best known as the co-founder of Aisle (formerly Lunapads), a founding Canadian B Corp. In 2014 she created G Day, a national event series for girls and in 2018 she began developing Nestworks. Her vision for Nestworks was born of her experience of ‘coworking’ with her daughter and her business partner’s two sons at their Lunapads office from 2002 to 2007.

Madeleine is passionate about creatively deploying the tools of business in service of social change, drawing inspiration from natural growth patterns as ways to build regenerative organizations and communities. In her first book, The Greater Good: Social Entrepreneurship for Everyday People Who Want to Change the World, she offers encouraging tips and reflections for aspiring impact-based entrepreneurs. She blogs regularly on Medium.com.
